District heating includes the production and distribution of district heating in Västervik, Gamleby, and Ankarsrum. The main fuels are biofuels, household, and business waste. The connected effect is approximately 100 MW with an annual sales of just over 200 GWh.

Västervik Miljö & Energi is looking for an Electrician / Industrial Electrician for the maintenance department within production, where we have a future retirement vacancy. You will be part of a maintenance team responsible for the maintenance of all production facilities within the company, focusing on district heating. On-call duty is included in the position.

Main Responsibilities

• Corrective and preventive maintenance of our process equipment.
• Work with fire systems, control systems, control and regulation equipment, as well as installations.
• In consultation with management and operations personnel, prioritize, prepare, and plan maintenance work.
• Planning and reporting of jobs in the maintenance system.
• Acquire knowledge and ensure that production facilities operate according to VME AB's instructions, routines, and safety work, as well as comply with legislation.
• Facility operator for fire alarms.
• Reporting in the maintenance system.
• Ensure routines and documentation for safe electrical work.
• Procurement of materials.

Qualifications

Applicants should have at least a 3-year theoretical education in the electrical program of high school or other education deemed equivalent by the employer, along with a few years of work experience. You have experience from similar positions and preferably experience in electrical maintenance within the process industry, as well as knowledge of electrical equipment such as electric motors, frequency converters, switchgear, and SCADA systems. It is important that you can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English. A driver's license (B) is required. General computer skills are important for performing the job. You will work with important safety issues, and a safety classification may be conducted on you as a person.

Desirable

• Experience with El-CAD.
• Experience with ESA.
• Experience from process industry / industry.
• Experience with ABB 800xA.
